Boat Trip to Vido Island
Description
In the course of time it has been occupied several times. During the Venetian occupation there were tunnels built between Vidos and Corfu Town and criminals were transported through these tunnels to the island, where they were imprisoned.
Eventually Vido Island has become a designated nature reserve, where now injured animals are cared for and helped (especially birds).
On the island there is also a Serbian mausoleum.
There are two beaches that are accessible via a path that runs around the entire island.
